Breeder of Boer, Kalahari Goats and Dorper sheeps
GlamGoat has a total of 400 breeder goats. There are Boer, Kalahari, Saanen goat and Black head dorper sheep. These animals are bred in our farm in an intensive feed lot system. The animals are sold either for meat or to other farmers for breeding. Boer kids 4-12 weeks of age are known for their tender meat. It is called Cabrito.
These young animals are milk fed and the meat is very tender, juicy and very lean. The best way to cook cabrito and lamb is to slow baked at low temperature or barbeque with lots of moisture. Cabrito will lose moisture and can toughen quickly due to low fat content if it is exposed to high, dry cooking temperatures. Older goat and sheep are sold live per head. They are mainly for Qurban and Aqiqah.
Other animals in our farm that are for sale are free range kampung chicken, ducks and duck eggs.

Saanen Goat’s Milk
Goats’ milk and their products are nutritionally versatile and of late, have gained wide demand due to their potential nutraceutical properties. Our Saanen goats are free graze and we supplement them with high quality dry grass and soya by product. The milk is sweet and has no goaty smell. The goats are hand milked but currently we’re constructing a milking parlour to meet the increasing demand of goat’s milk.
